Sancho has had his fair share of problems since he joined from Borussia Dortmund two summers ago.
He has struggled to nail down a consistent starting berth in Erik ten Hag's squad and was actually ent on an 'exile' during the World Cup break to work up on his fitness.
In the Saturday lunchtime kickoff, the winger showed glimpses of his quality as the Red Devils saw off a resilient Everton side to continue with their top-four charge.

Goals from Anthony Martial and Scott McTomminay helped Erik ten Hag's men record back-to-back victories after shaly results of late. Sancho assisted McTomminay's goal.
But apart from his goal contribution, the 23-year-old dazzled with a sublime skill that left two Everton players, Demarai Gray and Amadou Onana, sprawling on the floor.
United launched a quick counter-attack with Sancho driving forward and in a bid to stop him, Gray and Onana double-teamed the England international.
Both Toffees stars were decided after Sancho changed his pace to cut inside, leaving the two players on the floor, much to the delight of the Old Trafford faithful.
He will be hoping for a steady run of games as the season gets to its penultimate end.

Marcus Rashford suffers worrying injury in Manchester United's win over Everton
FootballSports Brief has also reported that Manchester United boss Erik Ten Hag has been left furious with the current scheduling of matches after his top scorer Marcus Rashford suffered what appeared to be a groin injury on Saturday.
Rashford hobbled off moments after assisting his teammate Anthony Martial with a goal, and Ten Hag was quizzed after the match on the extent of his forward’s injury.
Rashford has been among the most consistent players for United this season, missing only two of the 47 games his club has featured in so far.
