FootballRomelu Lukaku: Inter Milan Ultras Show Love to Chelsea Striker After Horrendous Miss Against Salernitana
- Chelsea loanee Romelu Lukaku produced another horrendous miss for Inter Milan yesterday
- The striker hit the bar two yards out against Salernitana and was denied later by Guillermo Ochoa
- He walked up to the Curva Nord Ultras after the game and apologised
Romelu Lukaku keeps making a case to Inter Milan why his loan move should not be extended nor made permanent, and he is sent back to Chelsea, who probably do not want him either.
His physical condition and performances on the pitch did not look like anything close to his first stint at the club when he led Nerazzurri to their first Scudetto in 11 years.
He moved to England shortly after winning the title for £97.5m, but his fallout with the club made him return to Milan on loan for 10% of his initial fee.
As reported by Caught Offside, during Inter's 1-1 draw against Salernitana, he found himself in a good position after a corner but managed to hit the crossbar from two yards out, with Guillermo Ochoa nowhere to be found.

Lukaku apologises to Inter ultras
The striker walked up to the Curva Nord Ultras after the game gesturing towards them and apologising for the horrendous miss that could have won the game for the team, who conceded a late equaliser, according to FC Inter News.
The gesture was well received by the group, who sent him a mess of support via their Instagram story.
“Facing up to things always, it doesn’t matter if they go well or badly, what matters is taking responsibility. In good fortune and in adversity, we will be there,” their statement reads.
Lukaku fall out with Inzaghi
Gazzetta dello Sport, via Football Italia, reports that the striker's problems in Milan are partly due to a lack of relationship with head coach Simone Inzaghi as the two don't see eye to eye.

FootballBoth face uncertain futures at the club. Inzaghi is set to be sacked at the end of the season, while Lukaku will return to Chelsea in the summer.
Lukaku breaks silence after racism
Sports Brief reported that Lukaku issued a powerful statement after Juventus fans racially abused him during the Coppa Italia semi-final first leg.
He scored a last-minute penalty to salvage a draw for Inter, and he was then sent off for excessive celebration in front of the Old Lady fans, who had been racially abusing him during the game.
