In particular, Toure is keeping a close eye on Barca’s next fixture, an El Clasico in the Copa del Rey.

La Blaugrana will face Real Madrid in the second leg of their semi-final tie, holding a 1-0 lead. Franck Kessie scored the only goal of the game as Barcelona won the first leg.

Speaking ahead of the second leg, the former Manchester City midfielder claimed that Madrid are afraid of facing their Spanish rivals, Barca Universal reported.

“In Europe, all the teams are afraid of Madrid, but Madrid are afraid of Barcelona. And it’s always been like that,” he said.

Toure also spoke about the upcoming El Clasico game and how he hoped Barcelona got through to the final.

“Barcelona have the advantage. It will be an intense clash, but there could be dynamite. With their great form, I think they can sneak into the final. I hope they go through, but anything can happen - nobody knows.”

However, he admitted Madrid were a dangerous outfit and could not be taken lightly.

As noted by Transfermarkt, Toure played at La Blaugrana for three years before moving to Manchester City. He joined the Spanish giants from Monaco in France.

He played 118 games for the La Liga side, scoring six goals and providing eight assists during that time. He then moved to the Premier League, where he become hugely successful with the EPL champions.

Iniesta briefly supported Real Madrid

Sports Brief also reported that Barcelona legend, Andres Iniesta wasn’t always Barca supporter.

At one stage, in his own words, he supported the Catalans' bitter arch-rivals, Real Madrid.

Iniesta said supported Los Blancos briefly as a youth because he was upset with Barca.
