  • Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen could be making a move to the Premier League at the end of the season
  • This is according to Ben Jacobs who stated the Napoli man has one eye on joining Manchester United
  • However, the Red Devils must be aware they are not the only clubs interested in Osimhen's signature

American reporter, Ben Jacobs has claimed that Premier League giants, Manchester United are more likely to sign Nigerian striker, Victor Osimhen at the end of the ongoing season.

Osimhen's incredible performances so far this season have been noted by many sides in Europe, who are now preparing for serious transfer battle for his signature in the summer.

His partnership with Khvicha Kvaratskhelia at the front has been top-notch.

While speaking to reporters in Nigeria, Osimhen stated he would not discuss any transfer moves, claiming it would be disrespectful towards Napoli.

However, according to the report by Tbrfootball, Jacobs believes the Nigerian will likely be making a move to Old Trafford.

Jacobs: Osimhen dreams of EPL

“Manchester United are still very much looking for that traditional number nine and everybody is getting excited about whether it’s going to be Kane or Osimhen. Osimhen dreams of the Premier League."
He added: "And I think Manchester United is more likely than Chelsea at this point because Osimhen’s always had one eye on Manchester United.''

Sacchi speaks about Osimhen

Earlier, Sports Brief reported on former Italian coach, Arrigo Sacchi claiming that even Osimhen would have struggled if he had featured in the AC Milan clash.

To the surprise of many, Napoli - who are leading Serie A by a big margin - suffered an embarrassing 4-0 home defeat against the defending champions on April 2.

Osimhen missed the game due to injury, which he was reported to have suffered while playing for the Super Eagles in the African Cup of Nations qualifiers.
