Quite a number of Nigerian footballers could switch clubs at the end of the season especially as Napoli striker Victor Osimhen is being heavily linked away from Italy.

Osimhen moved to the Italian club in the summer of 2022 for a fee of around €50million, but after three years of scintillating performances, his value has risen to €100million.

He is being linked with several clubs including Manchester United, Chelsea, Arsenal, and Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich.

Nigeria ranked 13th most-valuable African team

Sports Brief earlier reported that the Super Eagles of Nigeria have been ranked as the most expensive national football team on the continent according to data from Transfermarkt.

Despite the Super Eagles currently occupying the 13th position, they came first as far as how valuable their players are in the world.

A number of the players feature for clubs in Europe’s most lucrative top-flight leagues, which led to the national side being named as the most valuable.
