FootballHarry Kane: Fans Blast Tottenham Hotspur Striker After Abdoulaye Doucouré Red Card Incident vs Everton
- Abdoulaye Doucoure was shown a straight red card after shoving Harry Kane in the face
- While it was a clear and blatant foul, fans blasted Kane for milking the incident
- Kane's penalty was cancelled out by Michael Keane's late effort
Football fans and pundits were up in arms after Everton's midfielder Abdoulaye Doucouré was sent off during a Premier League match on April 3rd.
Doucoure put his hand on Harry Kane's face in the second half of the Goodison Park encounter, with centre referee David Coote brandishing a red card immediately.
The two players got into an altercation as they challenged for the ball. Kane was seen tugging Doucouré's shirt, with the French-born Malian midfielder reacting angrily by shoving him in the face right in front of his manager Sean Dyche.
Whilst no one could disagree with the referee's actions, the conversation however quickly changed to whether Doucouré's shove was enough to send Kane to the ground.

'Minimal contact'
The England international all-time goal scorer went sprawling on the ground clutching at his face despite minimal contact to his face. It would be fair to argue that he made a meal out of the situation with the home crowd and fans online calling him a cheater.
Fans reactions
@Henry Winter said:
"Harry Kane milked that, then stayed down. Abdoulaye Doucoure was stupid, raised his left hand, and deserved the red, but Kane exaggerated the contact. Embarrassing from Kane."
Liverpool legend turned pundit Jamie Carragher quipped:
"He stays down rolling around when there's nothing wrong with him."
Other fans took notice of the fact that Kane committed a foul of his own in the buildup to the red card incident.
10-man Everton strike late to hold Tottenham
Football"It's worse than I thought; I knew he kicked Gray's knee while he was down, turns out he also took a massive swing at Doucoure too. Harry Kane really is a disgrace to football."
The 29-year-old got a yellow card before stepping up a few minutes later to score a penalty. They, however, had to settle for a point after Michael Keane scored just before stoppage time with a beautiful shot from way out.
Kane announces fourth child
This came after the striker gave his fans another bit of personal good news after announcing he is expecting his fourth child with his wife, Katie Goodland.
The 29-year-old took to Instagram, uploaded a picture of himself and his wife and uploaded a video of the ultrasound image in the second frame.
Harry and Katie were high school sweethearts and married in 2019. They gave birth to two daughters Vivi (2016), Ivy (2018) and an only son Louis (2020).
