German-born Ghanaian forward, Ransford-Yeboah Konigsdorffer has opened up on playing for the Black Meteors at the Africa U23 Cup of Nations.
The Hamburger SV forward was named in Ghana's squad for the Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Angola last month but failed to make an appearance in the two legs.
With the striker just 21 years old, he remains eligible for the tournament to be hosted in Morocco in June this year.
According to Konigsdorffer, he is always ready to serve the country.

“That is a good question, but I don’t know; I have never thought about it or talked about it to someone. Maybe if they call me. I don’t know when is the tournament, but we never know,” he told Ghanaweb, as quoted by Pulse.
The German-born Ghanaian has been in fine form for Hamburger SV in the Bundesliga 2 this season, scoring seven goals in 23 games.
The talented forward switched nationalities to represent the west Africans in 2022, making his debut in the international friendly against Nicaragua last September.
Ghana qualified for the U23 Africa Cup of Nations after beating Algeria 2-1 on aggregate.
Konigsdorffer disappointed after cup snub

Former Germany U21 striker, Konigsdorffer has disclosed why he opted to represent Ghana at international level.
Sports Brief reported on the 20-year-old forward switching nationality to play for the west Africans last June.
According to the forward, his decision to play was inspired by his father and what he called a simpler decision.
