Erik ten Hag has broken his silence following Manchester United's 2-0 shock defeat to Newcastle on Sunday at St. James' Park.

However, Ten Hag's charges were unable to get the job done away from home as the Magpies humbled the Red Devils to climb to third in the Premier League standings.
According to The Mirror, two second-half goals from Joe Willock and Callum Wilson were enough to see off Ten Hag's men.

Ten Hag reacts to Newcastle defeat
Reacting to the defeat, Ten Hag delivered a stinging criticism of his players' display, hitting out at their attitude.
"We had our opportunities but then you have to go for goal with the determination they did. It wasn’t good enough. We allowed them too many chances. You have to be hungry and give everything every game," he said.
“Our attacking game wasn’t good enough. I don’t want to focus on one person. It was a team performance," he added.
United will now be looking to make amends when they take on Brentford in their next Premier League clash set for Wednesday night, April 5, at Old Trafford.
