Former Arsenal forward Alex Iwobi has explained why English-born Ghanaian forward Eddie Nketiah remains an important player for Mikel Arteta.
The 23-year-old filled the void left by Brazilian forward Gabriel Jesus following his injury.
Nketiah, who is out for weeks after picking a knock last month against Leicester, led the lines to ensure the Gunners kept their position at the top of the table.
With Jesus back from injury, the England youth international is expected to play the role of deputizing the Brazilian.

“It's always going to be hard to be the main striker at Arsenal. They've got Gabriel Jesus, who is talented and before that Lacazette and Aubamayeng. Eddie is someone who believes in himself from when he was young," said Iwobi on the Beautiful Game Podcast, as quoted by HITC.
“Eddie gets goals, always guaranteed. Always gets goals. He won’t stop working.
“That’s something that I am sure Arteta appreciates. Even if he is not playing, he will run in training.”
Nketiah is expected to make an injury comeback in the coming weeks as Arsenal eye a good finish to the season.

The 23-year-old is out of contract at Arsenal at the end of the season but his performances this year have encouraged the Gunners to keep hold of him.
