Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen will be handed a new face mask when he returns to Napoli, amid reports that the original one got missing while he was away on international duty.
The striker was part of the 26-man Super Eagles squad that prosecuted the Africa Cup of Nations qualifying double-header against Guinea-Bissau.
Nigeria lost 1-0 at home but returned to the top of Group A standings following a 1-0 away win over the Djurtus in the reverse fixture.
However, Italian outlet Calciomercato reports that upon his arrival in Naples, Osimhen realised he was not with his iconic mask.

Osimhen began to wear the mask after sustaining an injury in Napoli’s 3-2 defeat to Inter Milan in November 2021.
The 24-year-old sensational striker has racked up 21 goals and four assists in 23 Serie A matches so far this season.
Napoli are first in the Serie A table with 71 points after 27 games this campaign.
Meanwhile, Osimhen is set to be out for weeks after returning to Naples with an injury following the international break.
The red-hot striker fired blanks in Nigeria's Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Guinea-Bissau, with the Super Eagles losing in Abuja before travelling to Bissau to redeem themselves.
Napoli president, Aurelio De Laurentiis confirmed the striker's injury, insisting he might miss the game against AC Milan in both Serie A and the UEFA Champions League.
