Hakim Ziyech: Chelsea agree deal for midfielder from Dutch league side Ajax

Chelsea have agreed to terms with Dutch champions Ajax over the signing of Morrocan midfielder Hakim Ziyech for a fee reported to be £45 million.
A statement by Ajax on their official Twitter page suggested that Ziyech will be moving to Stamford Bridge in the next summer, ending reports linking him to other top clubs in Europe.
The Moroccan emerged a transfer target for Blues following his stellar Champions League performance against Chelsea which ended in dramatic 4-4 draw.
With Ziyech deal confirmed, Chelsea have now found a worthy successor for Eden Hazard who departed the club in last summer for Real Madrid after seven seasons.
Frank Lampard's side failed to sign a major player during the January transfer market despite surviving the two-window transfer ban imposed on them by FIFA, but Ziyech arrival will be a massive boost for Chelsea's porous midfield.
Chelsea beat top clubs in Europe for the signing of Ziyech whose prolific swags that can help boost the attacking line led by Tammy Abraham.
The 26-year-old Moroccan is also believed will blend his attacking prowess and creativity for Blues as he will be expected to fill the void left behind by Hazard.
Ziyech was instrumental to Ajax's exploits in the Champions League last season and also helped the Dutch side win the Eredivisie title.
The Moroccan international has an impressive record under Erik ten Hag with 10 goals and 16 assists.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng had reported that Premier League giants Chelsea have been linked with a move to sign Cameroonian professional goalkeeper Andre Onana as a replacement for current number one Kepa Arrizabalaga.
Goalie Kepa Arrizabalaga has not been impressive this season for Chelsea and there have been calls from the Blues fans for him to be dropped to the bench due to his games.
And following series of unimpressive games this season for Chelsea, Frank Lampard was forced to drop Kepa Arrizabalaga for the encounter against Leicester City in the Premier League.
