In fact, the Red Devils would be 10 points worse off without Rashford’s goals, in 7th place.
Tottenham Hotspur would also be in a similar predicament without their top scorer Harry Kane’s goals and would also drop four places.
There would be beneficiaries from United and Tottenham’s drop in the form of Newcastle and Brighton, who would be third and fourth respectively.
City are not too reliant on Haaland
In the same table, an interesting dynamic is that despite Haaland’s 28 goals for Manchester City, the Citizens would not be too badly off without his services.
