Ahmed Musa is now the most capped Super Eagles player following his appearance for the three-time African champions in their win over Guinea-Bissau on Monday night, March 27.
Jose Peseiro and his wards recorded a 1-0 win over the hosts in the return leg of their double header and returned to the top of the table with nine points after four games.
Musa made his debut for the Super Eagles in 2010 and was also part of the squad that won the 2013 African Cup of Nations in South Africa.
Even though many critics have been claiming that Musa should hang his international boots, the former Premier League star has made it clear that he will continue to play.

Speaking exclusively with Sports Brief, Musa revealed that he doesn't bother himself by what critics say adding that he only wants to continue doing his best when called upon.

''I am not worried about talks from them because they are not Allah and my own is to do my best anytime the invite me into the Super Eagles.
''My body has not told me yet not to play again and why should I? I want to continue playing for the national team.''
With his 109 caps, Musa has now equalled Zidane's record in the French national team and also surpassed Vieira’s 107 international caps for France and Lampard’s 106 caps for England.

Earlier, Sports Brief had reported how Nigerian football legend Ahmed Musa settled the hospital bills of more than N2.5million for patients at the Male Surgical ward of the Aminu Kano Teaching hospital.
The Super Eagles captain is known as a footballer who always give to society considering what he has done for years and keeps doing to help people on the streets.
At the Surgical ward of the Aminu hospital, Musa was touched by the conditions of those on the beds and decided to help them financially.
