A difficult start for Mane
Following his move from Liverpool to the Bavarians, Mane has failed to fire as many expected. Injuries and a lack of consistency have seen him struggle to reach the heights that many are accustomed to.
As noted by Transfermarkt, the Senegalese has only scored 11 goals and notched five assists in 28 games for the club.
Mane himself admitted that moving to a new league wasn't easy, as per The Mirror.
"Switching from one club to another is not easy. I spent eight very nice years in England, and now I am in a new country. It is not easy because everything changes so suddenly: people, training, everything,” he said.
Mane’s chances of impressing Tuchel
The former Chelsea manager will take charge of his first game with the club as they take on league leaders, Borussia Dortmund and will be spoiled for choice when it comes to attacking options.
