FootballVideo: Swallows FC's Morgan Mammila Throws 'Pensioner' Jibe at Bafana Bafana Coach Hugo Broos
- Bafana Bafana coach Hugo Broos is now seriously under fire from the South African football fraternity
- The latest person to get on his case was new Swallows FC technical advisor Morgan Mammila
- He described the Belgian as a pensioner in a no-holds-barred tirade in front of the media
Morgan Mammila is not impressed at all with Hugo Broos.
The new Swallows FC technical advisor climbed into the Belgian boss of Bafana Bafana. This was following a near-disgraceful 2-2 draw against low-ranked Liberia in a crucial 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier at Orlando Stadium on Friday.
Tweeting a rant of his from a video on Twitter, Mammila fired:
"How on earth can we really rely on pensioner to do a better job than young smart coaches? We testing poison with our [tongues] as South Africans. I saw signs of failure in this coach and people thought I was crazy and clueless."

In the video, Mammila was generally critical of the way that the South African Football Association was being run. He implored SAFA president Danny Jordaan to consult with Patrice Motsepe on how Mamelodi Sundowns was as professional in their dominance of local football and strong showings in African football competitions.
Bafana mocked for training drill
The warning signs were already there, as was reported by Sports Brief.
Bafana Bafana supporters' lack of confidence in their team manifested in a concerning way before the match. The squad was in practice at Soccer City, from which a video of a mistake-ridden passing drill between some of the players was loaded on the team's Twitter account.
The response was overwhelmingly derisive from those who responded to the tweet.

FootballHugo Broos blasts Andile Jali
Meanwhile, Sports Brief reported on Hugo Broos being as blunt as ever when it came to the unprofessional behaviour of local footballers.
This time it was the turn of Mamelodi Sundowns midfielder, Andile Jali, to face criticism from Bafana Bafana's Belgian coach.
Touching on the allegations that he arrived drunk at a practice not long ago, Broos did not hold back in an interview with Sunday World.
