Despite his young age, Mbappe charged his teammates, demanding for more of the same in the second half.
"Well done, guys, well done, well done, that’s it!" He said as quoted by Sportskeeda.
That’s how you start a game. Don’t let them breathe; give them nothing. Same thing in the second half, the same thing. Don’t let up. That’s how we do it, guys."
Deschamps charges took their feet off the pedal but still managed to add insult to Holland's injury when Mbappe found the back of the net for the second time in the game.
His two-goal haul takes his France tally to 38, surpassing Karim Benzema in the all-time chart for Les Bleus. Mbappe would hope to add more when he leads the 2022 World Cup finalists to their second group game against Ireland on Monday, March 27.
