The tie will see United come up against a familiar face in the shape of Alex Telles, who is eligible to face his parent club.
Telles is currently on loan with Sevilla, who he joined during the summer of 2022.
The Brazilian's move to the La Liga giants came at a time he was bound to compete for a starting spot with first-choice Luke Shaw and Tyrell Malacia.
According to ESPN, the fullback will spend the rest of the 2022/23 season with the Spanish side.
Apparently, Telles will not be barred from lining up against Man United during the two-legged European affair.
One Football claims that United negotiators did not include any clause in Telles' contract to prevent him from playing against his home club.

Incidentally, Telles would not be the first Man United star to play against the club.
During the 2020/21 Europa League campaign, Diogo Dalot came off the bench to feature for AC Milan against the Red Devils.
At the time, Dalot was on loan at the Italian club from Old Trafford.
Meanwhile, the Portuguese has since found his way back into the Man United starting XI and has been a regular under Erik ten Hag this season.
Earlier, Sports Brief reported Manchester United look set to part company with a number of players at the end of the ongoing season.
Erik ten Hag is expected to undertake radical changes as he bids to lead United back to their glory days.
The move could see several high-profile Man United players offloaded to pave way for summer arrivals.
