Arsenal ace reportedly unwilling to return to Emirates from loan spell in France
FootballJoao Felix: Frank Leboeuf Wants Chelsea to Sell Mount, Pulisic to Fund Felix Transfer
- Joao Felix has had a blistering start to life since he joined Chelsea on loan from Atletico Madrid
- His impressive performances have endeared him to supporters, who now want his deal permanently
- Felix is expected to return to Atletico Madrid at the end of this season when his Chelsea loan ends
Former Chelsea star, Frank Leboeuf has urged the club to consider selling Mason Mount and Christian Pulisic this summer to fund the transfer of Joao Felix.
Felix is currently on loan with the Blues for the rest of the ongoing season, having joined the club on a short-term deal during the January transfer window.
However, the deal did not include an option to buy, meaning it is all but decided that the Portuguese star will return to Atletico Madrid at the end of the season.
Whereas the former Porto star picked up a red card in his debut for Chelsea, Metro UK reports that Felix has largely impressed since then during his short spell with the Premier League giants.

He has done so well that a section of the Chelsea fanbase has urged the club to consider making the forward's stay at the club permanent.
Leboeuf: Chelsea must sign Felix
Leboeuf, an ex-Chelsea player, is one such supporter who wants Felix's stay at the west London club extended.
The former centre-back contends the Portuguese star's potential asking price would perhaps be the only worry for the Blues should they decide to sign him permanently.
However, the Frenchman argued the club could cash in on Mount and Pulisic to fund the summer deal.
"Joao Felix is a great player. I think he’s the most dangerous player, the most entertaining player, and the most artistic player at Chelsea right now. He’s been pretty consistent too; almost every game, he creates something," Leboeuf told ESPN.
How Chelsea could line up with N'Golo Kante as midfielder returns from injury
Football"Hopefully Chelsea will be able to sell a few players - maybe Pulisic and Mount - and can then get Felix on a permanent," he added.
Could Pereira be Mount's replacement?
Sports Brief also reported on Chelsea reportedly being interested in ex-Manchester United midfielder, Andreas Pereira to replace Mount.
The Englishman is currently facing an uncertain future at Stamford Bridge and is yet to align with the club's long-term vision of contracts.
Reports claim Chelsea may look to cash in on Mount this summer while still under contract, rather than losing him for free next year.
