The Super Eagles of Nigeria were made to train in darkness after lights at the Moshood Abiola Stadium in Abuja failed to come on.
Nigeria takes on Guinea-Bissau in a 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier on Friday with kick-off time slated for 5 pm.
On Tuesday evening, the players who started their training session around 6 pm struggled to train in the cover of darkness.
Coach Jose Peseiro and his players managed to plot their tactics for just about an hour before the main bowl was covered in total darkness.

Despite that, the desperate Portuguese coach continued with the session for some time before it ended, and players then made their way out of the facility.
One wrote:
"Super Eagles were unable to complete their training today because there was no power at the Moshood Abiola Stadium in Abuja.
Coach Jose Peseiro was unhappy and he left with the team in an 18-seater white bus. The Super Eagles did not arrive at the stadium in their official branded bus."
Another added:
“Sad to hear the Super Eagles could not complete their training tonight because the light didn't come on at the MKO Abiola Stadium in Abuja.”
Meanwhile, Napoli striker Victor Osimhen, who missed Tuesday’s training has joined the team as he arrived at the team’s hotel later.

More than 20 players have already arrived at the Super Eagles camp in Abuja and they have started preparations for the two coming encounters.
Babangida reminded Peseiro of the importance of selecting the best legs for the games.
