Lionel Messi inspired Argentina to victory at the Qatar 2022 FIFA World Cup, helping Argentina to their first world title since 1986 in Mexico, which was inspired by the late Diego Maradona.

Enzo Fernandez was named the young player of the tournament for his exploits as the anchor of La Albiceleste's midfield alongside Alexis Mac Allister and Rodrigo De Paul.

As noted by Daily Star, he was observing the Stamford Bridge turf alongside his teammates and around his neck was a gold chain whose pendant is a World Cup trophy and a ball.

Bettinelli rides bike to hotel

In other news, Chelsea backup goalkeeper Martin Bettinelli made his way to the team hotel on an electric bike instead of the flashy cars used by most footballers.

The video was recirculated on Twitter by Frank Khalid, and it got fans talking. One said Todd is already cutting costs, while another said he probably lives close by. Another claimed it was not his bike and belonged to a nearby rental service.

Fernandez gives out his shirt

Sports Brief earlier reported that Enzo Fernandez gave out his shirt to a young fan who ran to meet him after Chelsea's 2-0 victory over Borussia Dortmund that ensured their qualification to the quarter-final of the UEFA Champions League.

The Argentine was heavily criticised after Karim Adeyemi beat him in a last-man race to score in the 1-0 loss but redeemed himself with an assured performance in the second leg.

The young fan approached him after the game, and he was gracious enough to give him his shirt and a big hug.
