FootballCristiano Ronaldo Going Grey: When Fans Reacted to Veteran Nearing the 'End of an Era'
- Cristiano Ronaldo's January transfer move to Al-Nassr generated both acclaim and criticism
- He will be in action for Portugal when they take on Liechtenstein on Thursday
- Despite ageing, just like fine wine, fans have spotted a feature which indicates the opposite
Cristiano Ronaldo has turned social media upside down, with multiple reactions trickling in from users.
Ronaldo, whose professional career has spanned almost two decades, made the odd yet lucrative move to join Saudi Arabian club Al-Nassr after falling out with the rank and file of Manchester United.
Since moving to the Middle East, the five-time Ballon d'Or recipient appears to have rediscovered his old form, which made him a dreaded proposition to opponents during his heydays in Europe.
The 38-year-old has bagged an impressive 13 goals in 12 games as Al-Nassr eyes the Saudi Pro League title and the King Cup, in addition to their Arab Club Champions Cup win.
However, a photo of Ronaldo, which some have taken as proof the Portuguese phenomenon is nearing the end of his career, has sparked reactions from social media users.
In the photo, seen by Sports Brief, an eagle-eyed user spotted the veteran with grey hair.
How fans reacted to Ronaldo's grey hair
