Former France international Rio Mavuba has shared an interesting tale about out-of-favour Real Madrid forward Eden Hazard.
Before becoming the global icon he is now, Hazard used to run defenders amok in the French Ligue 1 with LOSC Lille.
His ball-playing abilities, coupled with his direct and forceful dribbling, made him a dreaded proposition to any side and it came as no surprise he won the Ligue 1 player of the year on two occasions before joining Chelsea in 2012, per Bleacher Report.
However, before he made the trip to England, the Belgian left an impression on one of his former Lille teammates.

After announcing his departure via a cryptic message on social media, Hazard bagged a hattrick against Nancy to bow out in style.
However, the circumstances leading to his sensational performance in his last game have now been brought to light.
Mavuba, who had 13 caps for France, disclosed Hazard's crazy night out with the boys.
"It was Hazard's last game for Lille, and he wanted to organise something for us." Mavuba said as quoted by Frank Khalid.
"He hosted a party one day before the game against Nancy, he spent the whole night drinking, and the next morning he was still drunk.
Despite being tipsy, the then 21-year-old managed to notch three goals in a space of 30 minutes in a 4-1 win against Nancy.

Real Madrid are planning an extensive summer clear-out as they aim to refresh their squad ahead of next season.
Up to seven players could be sold, with the likes of Luka Modric, Eden Hazard, and Marco Asensio reportedly on the chopping block.
Sportskeeda, citing Spanish outlet, Fichajes, suggested that Belgian playmaker Hazard could be one of the first to leave.
Sports Brief previously reported that Eden Hazard, who made defences tremble at the mention of his name, has now become the definition of a failed transfer, a casualty of a failed promise, and probably one of Florentino Perez’s biggest regrets.
The 32-year-old Belgian has struggled with niggling injuries since joining the club, recording more injuries than goals and more misses than assists.
Hazard has extraordinarily declined after he was forced off injured during a 3-0 group stage defeat to Paris Saint-Germain following a strong tackle by his Belgian teammate Thomas Meunier.
