Mohamed Salah has named a star-studded dream team featuring some of the sport's biggest superstars.
The Liverpool forward picked an attack-heavy five-a-side comprising Cristiano Ronaldo and Kylian Mbappe, perhaps due to his position on the field.
However, in his quest to name his favourite team of superstars, the Egypt international snubbed the reigning FIFA The Best Player, Lionel Messi.
Salah has endured a tough couple of days on a football front after missing a penalty in Liverpool's 1-0 defeat away to Bournemouth before watching his side bow out of the Champions League against Real Madrid on a 6-2 aggregate score, per BBC.

Salah's dream team
Manchester United legend Rio Ferdinand asked the Egyptian to give his dream five-a-side team (excluding goalkeepers) of players currently playing today.
Salah picked Liverpool teammate Trent Alexander-Arnold as well as current Al-Nassr captain Cristiano Ronaldo.
He also added Kylian Mbappe, who has been touted as the heir-apparent to Cristiano Ronaldo and Leo Messi's throne, and the reigning Ballon d'Or holder Karim Benzema.
Interestingly, he reserved a slot for himself in his own five-a-side team, per CristianoXtra.
What's next for Salah?

Modric names dream team
In a related article, Sports Brief reported that Real Madrid midfielder Luka Modric named his dream five-a-side football team, including former Barcelona star Ivan Rakitic.
Modric has already played with a plethora of stars following a successful spell at the Spanish giants and his pivotal role for the Croatian national team.
It is probably no surprise that the first name on the 37-year-old's roster was Toni Kroos, given the impressive midfield combo they built at the Santiago Bernabeu.
