Karim Benzema’s solo strike secured a 1-0 win against the Reds in the second leg at the Santiago Bernabeu, but winger Vinicius Junior was the star who caught the eye of manager Carlo Ancelotti.
According to Goal, Ancelotti described the Brazilian forward as the best player in the world following his mesmerising performance against Liverpool.

Vinicius, along with Kylian Mbappe, is one of only two players in the last three Champions League seasons to have both scored and assisted on 10-plus goals (13 goals and 10 assists).

Meanwhile, Vinicius Junior tormented Liverpool defender Trent Alexander-Arnold during their Champions League clash on Wednesday night, Daily Star reports.
No player was dribbled past more times in the Champions League this week than Trent Alexander-Arnold, who was dribbled past six times by the Brazilian winger against Real Madrid.
Vinicius Jr. has also dribbled past the England defender 13 times in five games against Liverpool, scoring five goals and providing two assists.
