Harambee Stars players jetted into the country in the early hours of Thursday morning, July 4, after an underwhelming outing at the African Cup of Nations in Egypt.
The Sebastien Migne-coached side lost to Algeria in their tournament before registering a win against their Cecafa rivals Tanzania.

Sars however went on to lose to senegal in their last group match, to finish third in Group C with three points.
The team therefore relied heavily relied on Cameroon defeating Benin in a Group F match to progress to the next round.
But the defending champions were held to a goalless draw by the minnows ending Stars’ round of 16 dreams.
Stars landed at the Jomo Kenyatta international Airport at dawn but the players led by captain Victor Wanyama snubbed the media, as they swiftly moved into an on-waiting van.

Only keeper Patrick Matasi and youngster Erick ‘Marcelo’ Ouma who arguably had a good tournament agreed to be interviewed by the press.
Wanyama came under heavy criticism owing to his underwhelming performance in the competition.
Stars will now shift focus to African Championship (CHAN) qualifiers where they are scheduled to face Tanzania later this month.
Winner of the two-legged fixture will play the winner of the clash between hosts Ethiopia and Djibouti.
