  • Footage believed to be obtained from Old Trafford toilets has seemingly vindicated Cristiano Ronaldo
  • The urinals were flooded with urine as fans blasted the poor conditions at the club
  • Ronaldo has in the past lamented the poor facilities he found at the club when he returned for a second spell

A football fan has sparked outrage on social media after sharing a video of extremely unsanitary conditions of urinals at Manchester United's home ground, Old Trafford.

The video was reportedly taken on Sunday, March 12th, as the Red Devils were held to a goalless draw by Southampton.

United were reduced to 10 men after Casemiro was sent off in the 34th minute. The stalemate left Erik ten Hag's charges 16 points from league leaders Arsenal.

Just before the game, a Manchester United fan shared a video of one of the urinals and proceeded to paint the disgusting picture he encountered.

"Just arrived at Old Trafford and not for the first time the toilets are overflooded with an inch of urine all over the floor. Disgusting to see. This is what the Glazers don’t want you to see. It’s that bad and has happened so many times I had to video it."

The video brought up Cristiano Ronaldo's past sentiments on the state of the club's facilities when he returned for a second spell in 2021. In an explosive interview with Piers Morgan, Ronaldo attacked various elements at the club, including the manager and the club's gym.

His comments led to the termination of his contract.

The video comes at a time when a significant number of Manchester United supporters are pushing for the exit of the Glazer family. There has been talks of a Qatari takeover as early as this summer.

Rashford accused of diving

In the same game, Marcus Rashford was accused of trying to cheat match officials to get a penalty. Rashford went down after minimal to no contact from Southampton's Gavin Bazunu.

The 25-year-old seemingly collided with Bazunu and went tumbling on the turf, asking for a penalty. However, replays show there was no contact between the two players and Rashford had actually tripped himself.
