Marcelo Vieira has urged Cristiano Ronaldo to join Fluminese in case he wants to reconsider his future at Saudi Arabian club, Al-Nassr.
Ronaldo and Marcelo spent nine years together at Real Madrid, where the pair formed a near-perfect alliance both on and off the pitch before embarking on separate paths.
The Portuguese phenomenon is currently on the books of Al-Nassr, while the marauding full-back recently rejoined his boyhood club in Brazil, Fluminese.
Earlier, reports suggested Ronaldo wanted his friend to join him in Saudi Arabia. However, it appears the latter is the one angling for a reunion in South America, per Besoccer.

The 34-year-old revealed he suggested the idea to Ronaldo via a message during recent their conversation.
"I sent a message to Cristiano and said, "Cris, if you want, you can come here [Fluminense] whenever you want. You will be happy," Marcelo disclosed, as quoted by CX.
"Cristiano and I talk about children because our children are friends, as well as our wives. He is a brother to me," he added.
Marcelo returns to boyhood club
Marcelo signed for Fluminese on a free transfer. The former Real Madrid defender started his career at the club before he moved to Europe.
As noted by Transfermrkt, Marcelo started out with Fluminese's youth side before being promoted to the first team in 2005.
Two years later, he was sold to Real Madrid where he spent 15 years before signing as a free agent for Olympiacos in Greece.
