Former Napoli defender Faouzi Ghoulam has expressed happiness over the current form of Nigerian strongman Victor Osimhen tagging the Super Eagles star as a modern striker.
Osimhen has for the past days been making headlines for good reasons due to his impressive performances for Napoli in all competitions.
The Nigerian striker has registered 19 goals this term and he is being monitored by many clubs in Europe most especially in the Premier League.
According to the report on Punch, Ghoulam explained that he is happy that injury has not been able to disturb Osimhen's games this term for Napoli.

Statement made by Ghoulam
“The only thing is that he always had bad injuries and last year (Dres) Mertens had to play in his place without having done any preparation due to shoulder surgery. We were a bit unlucky in this, however, Osimhen is a modern striker.
“He attacks depth very well, has a strong header, holds the ball well. He lacks a bit of coolness, he’s still a bit too instinctive.”
Victor Osimhen provides assist
Earlier, Sports Brief had reported how Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen on Saturday, 11 March, provided an assist for Napoli in their 2-0 win over Atalanta in what was a challenging Serie A battle which the hosts won.
Going into the encounter, Osimhen was tipped by many Nigerian fans for him to net against Ademola Lookman and his teammates, but he was unable to find the back of the net.
