Super Eagles striker Taiwo Awoniyi has stated emphatically that he has no regret over move to the Premier League where he currently plays for Nottingham Forest.
Last season in the German Bundesliga, the Nigerian star scored 15 goals for Union Berlin which made those in charge of Forest to roll out some cash to get his signature.
Awoniyi made history by scoring the club's first goal in the Premier League this term and has gone to net three more.
Some fans have claimed that Awoniyi should have remained in the Bundesliga where he was doing well rather his rush to the Premier League.

Speaking to Sports Brief, Awoniyi explained that he never made any mistake stressing that his dream since he was young has been to play in the Premier League.
Statement made by Awoniyi
''I made the best decision of my career because Forest' deal was a big chance for me to achieve my target as you know that I never had the chance to play for Liverpool before I was sold.
''I am happy at Forest, my family are happy in England and I want to keep representing the club and do my best on and off the pitch.''
Meanwhile, Forest are currently occupying 14th position on the Premier League table after 26 games played so far.
Awoniyi ruled out for 2 months
Earlier, Sports Brief had reported how Nigerian international Taiwo Awoniyi was ruled out of action for two months due to a problem with his groin.

Awoniyi put up an impressive performance during the encounter and scored the only goal of the game before he was substituted 20 minutes from time.
Afterwards, he said that he felt “soreness in the groin”, but added that he was fine. He has not made his club’s match-day squad since then.
