Manchester City moved to within two points at the top of the Premier League table and piled more pressure on Arsenal after a narrow 1-0 win over Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park in Saturday's evening game.
Norwegian striker Erling Haaland scored the game's only goal in the second half from the spot after captain Ilkay Gundogan was brought down in the Eagles' box.
City boss Pep Guardiola was delighted with the win after dropping points from such games in the past and believes his team can still usurp the Gunners to retain their league title.
Ederson wore Crystal Palace socks
City goalkeeper Ederson provided another highlight of the game after he was spotted wearing the away socks of the home side because his regular blue socks will clash with that of the home side, as reported by Sun UK.

Sports Brief earlier reported that Ederson escaped a red card against Arsenal after clattering into striker Eddie Nketiah inside the box.
The Brazilian nearly gave the match away as his two blunders almost denied the Citizens a 3-1 in the crucial game against their fellow title contenders.
