Former Chelsea and Arsenal winger Willian has admitted he regrets joining the Gunners after his Chelsea stint came to an end.
Willian was a household name at Chelsea, where he spent seven successful seasons, before eventually making the switch to North London in 2020.
He had the chance to remain at Chelsea, but was reportedly discontent at the fact that he was only offered a two year deal.
Arsenal came forth with a three-year contract, and Willian eventually joined the list of footballing elites to have played for both Chelsea and Arsenal.

“I should have never left”
His stint at Arsenal was a nightmare, and after just 12 months, he left the club, going back to his native Brazil to play for Corinthians.
Willian was recently asked by Sky Sports whether he regretted leaving Chelsea for Arsenal and his response was very telling.
“Yeah. I wish I’d never left. Yeah.” He said as quoted on SportBible.
“Of course, it’s easy to say something now, but when I stop to think about the whole situation then yeah, I say to myself I wish I’d never left.
“But it’s life. I’m happy now at Fulham - enjoying myself there, so this is life.”
Willian, 34, also spoke on Arsenal’s title surge this season as he gave credit where it is due.
“They are flying now. I don’t know, I think I came while it was changing a lot.”
“I was excited when I signed with them, I was training hard but it just didn’t work.” He added.

Fulham are currently 8th on the log, and have been superb in the Premier League, especially considering they are a newly-promoted side.
