Cristiano Ronaldo was spotted reacting sarcastically to fans chanting Lionel Messi’s name during Al Nassr’s defeat to Al Ittihad recently.
It almost looked like Al Nassr would hold on for one point at the home of their title rivals, but their efforts were undone by Romarinho, who burst down the right channel to eventually slip the ball past goalkeeper Nawaf Al-Aqidi.
The goal sent Ronaldo into a frenzy and the Portugal star was seen flaring his arms up in frustration as it was almost certain defeat was imminent after the late goal.
So far in the Saudi Arabian top flight, the five-time Ballon d’or winner has managed eight goals in seven appearances.
