Reading defender Baba Rahman has been in the social media trends in Ghana for over 24 hours following the release of the Black Stars team for the games against Angola.
The four-time Africa champions will host Angola on March 23, 2023 in the first leg of their double header in the Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.
Rahman, a regular member of the national team, was shockingly dropped by new coach Chris Hughton.
According to reports, the player was omitted from the squad due to injury.

Hughton names squad for Angola clash
Earlier, Sports Brief reported that New Black Stars coach, Chris Hughton has released his team for the double-header AFCON 2023 qualifier against Angola later this month.
The former Brighton & Hove Albion manager named a 25-man squad for the games.
Conspicuously missing is defender Baba Rahman while in-form KRC Genk star Joseph Paintsil makes a return to the team.
