Football fans were split on social media after Thomas Muller’s sensational comments suggesting it was harder to play against Cristiano Ronaldo than it was with Lionel Messi.
Messi fell short once again in the Champions League with PSG, who were knocked out in the round of 16 thanks to a 3-0 aggregate score as Bayern advanced to the next round.

After another embarrassing round of 16 elimination for PSG, Muller spoke to German journalist Georg Holzner on his records against the Argentine and acknowledged Cristiano Ronaldo as a bigger problem, as quoted by SB Nation.
“Against Messi, things always go well at all levels in terms of results. At club level, Cristiano Ronaldo was our problem when he was at Real Madrid,” he said.

Sports Brief earlier reported that Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher has told Kylian Mbappe to leave PSG after another round of 16 elimination.
The French forward has been the subject of a transfer battle between PSG and Real Madrid since January 2022 but chose to stay in Paris.
Carragher has now told him the earlier he gets out of the French capital club and joins Madrid, the better for his career.
