Experienced Nigerian coach Justin Tenger has stated emphatically that he stopped watching Arsenal games since the night they lost the Champions League final against Barcelona in Paris.
Wednesday, May 17, 2006 was the day many Arsenal fans thought they would win the Champions League title after reaching the final unbeaten.
But that night turned sour for them as they played more than 70 minutes of the tie with 10 men following the dismissal of goalkeeper Jens Lehmann after committing a foul on Samuel Eto'o.
Despite been one man down, Arsenal netted the first goal through Sol Campbell who nodded Eboue's cross inside the net.

Trouble in the second half
Barcelona restored parity in the second half through Eto'o before Juliano Belletti netted the winner for the Spanish giants.
Speaking exclusively to Sports Brief, Tenger stated that he was so sad the night Arsenal lost and vowed not to watch them again until the day they reach another final.

''I almost wept that night because I was live at the stadium with my son with the hope that Arsenal would win the game, but it ended in a disappointment and I made up my mind not to watch them again until they reach another final.''
Jorginho’s mother reduced to tears
