"I feel very much at home here. My family also feel at home in Munich. That’s a very important point for me,” he said.
With Robert Lewandowski leaving at the end of last season and Sadio Mane suffering an injury, Bayern were relying on Choupo-Moting to score, and he didn't disappoint.
The attacker has scored 15 goals in 24 games this season, Transfermarkt reported.
Only Jamal Musiala has been able to match that return this season. In total he's scored 33 goals for Bayern during his time at the club and notched up 10 assists.
He also won the Bundesliga title, two DFL Supercups and the FIFA Club World Cup as a Bayern player.
The club are also extremely happy to have Choupo-Moting on board for another year.
“We’re very pleased that he will be staying with us for another year,” said Bayern’s sporting director Hasan Salihamidzic. “Choupo is an artist on the ball and has performed really well in recent years. We’re glad to have him and be able to work with him until summer 2024," he said.

Choupo-Moting's impressive goal scoring form
Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting was always seen as playing second fiddle to Robert Lewandowski.
The Cameroonian striker didn’t get the chance to prove his worth while the Polish striker was at the club, but he’s making up for lost time now.
With Lewandowski moving on to Barcelona and Sadio Mane injured, Choupo-Moting has been forced to step up, and step up he has, Sports Brief reported.
