Manchester City and Arsenal are considered the contenders for the title this season but speaking to Sky Sports ahead of the derby, Jurgen Klopp puts Manchester United in the mix.
“They do well this year. They are where they are. They have turned into a result machine, squeezing results out with really good performances. Top football, even if it is not that way, they still get results. That is why they are there, everybody knows it, they are fully in the fight for winning the league,” he said.
“But that is not really important for Sunday, because we are there as well and try to be at our best,” he added.

FootballUnited are six points behind second-placed City, who have played a game more, and 10 points above Liverpool, who sit in sixth.

The German was confident his team are back and promised their rivals they would give them a big fight and aim for the maximum three points when the two sides clash at Anfield on Sunday.
The Merseyside club completed a double over their rivals last season, winning with an aggregate scoreline of 9-0 over the two legs.
