An own goal by Eder Militao gave Barcelona the win and the advantage in the tie, BBC reported.
While the result was important, the big talking point was Vini and de Jong’s tussle which resulted in the Brazilian getting a yellow.
Some fans felt he deserved a red card for it, while others thought he was auditioning for the UFC, and the rest believed that de Jong was the culprit.

Barcelona fans reckon Ronald Araujo once again 'pocketed' Vinicius Junior as the Real Madrid star fired blank against the Catalan giants.
The Uruguayan defender was one of the best performers as La Blaugrana pipped their arch-rivals Real Madrid 1-0.
Social media couldn't get enough of the Blaugrana star as they praised him for his performance, Sports Brief reported.
