Ivorian striker Didier Drogba is arguably one of the greatest footballers to come out of Africa and one of the most outstanding Africans to play in the Premier League.

He spent eight and half seasons across two stints at Chelsea. He won four league titles and also helped the club win their first UEFA Champions League trophy in 2012 as well as picking up two golden boots as the league's top scorer.

The powerful striker scored in 10 finals for Chelsea, including the 2012 night in Munich. He was also reputed for making rivals Arsenal his favourite victim during his stay in London.

In an interview with Sky Sports, the 44-year-old revealed the French manager was never satisfied with his performance, which prompted him to make the Gunners his usual victim.

''Coming to England, playing against my idol (Henry) was a challenge. I did everything to play well. But the more I did, the more Wenger said, 'Oh he didn't do much.' So it became another challenge for me to score and show, 'Maybe I'm not doing much, but I'm winning.','' he said.

The two-time African footballer of the year grew up in France and claimed he was an Arsenal fan growing up because of Thierry Henry, Robert Pores and Arsene Wenger.

Bonucci: Drogba is my strongest opponent

Drogba's most lethal weapon during his career was his strength, and he was famous for bullying defenders with his body before unleashing powerful shots.

Legendary Italian defender Leonardo Bonucci named Drogba his strongest opponent and the player that made him lose sleep ahead of games, as reported by Sports Brief.

The Juventus captain has records of committing errors leading to goals when he played against the former Galatasaray striker.
