Mourinho sees red: what happened?

Speaking after the game, the 60-year-old, who was still angry at the decision, took issue with Serra and threatened to take further action.

"I am emotional but not crazy. In order to react the way I did, something had to happen first. I need to understand if I can take any legal action. I want to find out if there is an audio recording," he said as quoted by GMS.

The Portuguese manager also made an implication about Serra's hometown of Turin having its team, Juventus face AS Roma in the next league game.

The defeat handed Cremonese their first win of the season, which saw them move above Sampdoria into 19th place. Roma failed to go level with the Milan clubs in second and remain a point behind their Rome rivals, Lazio.

Salzburg manager leaves Mourinho frustrated

Sports Brief also reported on Mourinho cutting a dejected figure on February 16, after a rival manager copied his celebration during the Europa League.

The Special One's AS Roma played to a tragic defeat against RB Salzburg in the first leg of their play-off fixture staged at the RB Arena Salzburg.

Mourinho's Serie A giants were silenced 1-0 by the hosts and despite dominating most of the match, had nothing to show for it at the full-time whistle.
