Kenyans Divided on Harambee Stars GOAT Between Oliech and Wanyama

Kenyans have been embroiled in a heated debate on who between Dennis Oliech and Victor Wanyama is Harambee Stars' greatest player of all time.

The two football greats enjoyed stunning careers with the national football team, with Oliech becoming one of the team's all-time goalscorer.

The legendary striker scored an impressive 34 goals before calling time on his international football career in 2016.

Oliech, who also had an impressive career in France and Asia made his bow for Harambee Stars in 2002 and went on to earn 76 caps.

One of his greatest career with Kenya was in 2004 when his last-minute goal against Cape Verde which sent them to the Africa Cup of Nations Championship.

Wanyama, on the other hand, also had a spectacular career with Harambee Stars which lasted 14 years.

He made his debut for the team in 2007 and managed to grow through the ranks to become the team's captain.

He managed to score seven goals for them in 64 appearances, with the versatile midfielder helping the team qualify for the 2014 Africa Cup of Nations.

Wanyama's recent decision to retire from international football on Monday, September 27, has generated a heated debate online among fans, with many of them divided on who was better during their time with the national team.
