Graham Potter has revealed that his family has been the subject of vile abuse and threats amid Chelsea's poor run of form.
Potter has found the going extremely tough in West London, with Chelsea only picking two wins in 15 games.
The club's heavy spending under the Clearlake consortium has left fans demanding for the dismissal of the former Brighton boss.
Speaking ahead of the London derby against Tottenham Hotspur, Potter documented that a section of fans have targeted his children with disturbing death threats.

"It's a challenge. If you go to work and somebody is swearing abuse at you, it’s not going to be pleasant – or if you’re referred to as the worst person in the history of the club. I’ve had some not particularly nice emails come through that want me to die, want my kids to die. Obviously, that's not pleasant to receive," as quoted by Goal.
Potter replaced Thomas Tuchel at the start of September and recorded impressive results in the club's first games. It is believed that the Chelsea ownership will give the manager time to implement his strategies.

Sports Brief had earlier reported that Potter needs to start getting results soon enough for Chelsea, not because of the safety of his job but because the backlash from fans after his recent comment did not sit down well with many of them.
