Klopp snaps at journalist after Liverpool's loss to Real Madrid
FootballChelsea Boss Potter Gives Hilarious Reason for Press Conference Delay
- Chelsea continue to struggle for results under Graham Potter with no end in sight
- The Blues lost at home to Southampton last week which many believed would be the end of Potter
- The owners have contributed to voice for their public support for the embattled manager
Chelsea have won just twice in 15 games, a run of form that would have gotten any manager sacked under former owner Roman Abramovich, but new owner Todd Boehly is tolerant of this. Graham Potter was bought out of his Brighton contract in October to replace former manager
Thomas Tuchel who was sacked after the 1-0 loss to Dinamo Zagreb on the opening day of this season's Champions League.
Potter's only achievement to date was navigating out of the group as leaders after beating AC Milan 5- 0 in the doubleheader and securing necessary results against RB Salzburg and Dinamo Zagreb.
Potter arrives late for press conference
As reported by Evening Standard, the former Brighton manager was in crisis talks with his coaching staff after the embarrassing 1-0 loss to Southampton at Stamford Bridge.

He arrived late for his press conference ahead of the game against Tottenham. While apologising to journalists for keeping them waiting, he joked he was coming out of a crisis meeting, as seen in a video published on Twitter by Hayters TV.
A press member asked how it was, and he responded with a smile and said still here, which affirms the reports during the week that the owners have told him his job is safe as it is a long-term project, not a short-term one.
It could be true he was coming out of a crisis meeting as he was earlier spotted with Chelsea chairman Todd Boehly, who walked around the training ground with him, and both men were spotted smiling, as noted by Twitter user @CFCPys.

FootballPotter jokes with journalists
Potter holds a Master's degree in Emotional Intelligence and Leadership and has exhibited some of that, showing off good humour during his press conferences.
Last week, Sports Brief reported that he shared a joke with a journalist over Chelsea's spending and large squad after spending over £300m on eight new signings in January.
He turned up in the press room and said it was filled in there. A journalist responds like your dressing as all present in the room laughed hysterically and proceeded to the business of the day.
