Erik Ten Hag, Ronaldo fallout

Apparently, Ronaldo had had several run-ins with Ten Hag in the run-up to his acrimonious Old Trafford exit.

According to Fernandes, Ronaldo was a victim of stringent rules set by Ten Hag for his new charges after he took charge of the Manchester club.

Fernandes went on to disclose that his fellow countryman was called out specifically for flouting the guidelines.

“He demands from people. He demands and you either do it, or you’re out. In the beginning everyone was like: ‘Will he do that if a big player doesn’t do what he wants? Will he pull him apart or not?’ Fernandes told BT Sport.
“And then he did it many times, he did it with Cristiano, he did it with Jadon and with Marcus also," he added.

Ronaldo labelled 'transformer' at Al-Nassr

Sports Brief also reported on Ronaldo being credited for transforming the Al-Nassr dressing room dramatically.

The forward joined the Saudi club and after a difficult start to life in the Middle East, has been breathtaking recently.

He is able to achieve all this through exercise, diet and rest, inspiring his teammates to step up their physical condition.
