Bruno Fernandes has opened up about Cristiano Ronaldo's strained relationship with Erik ten Hag during their time together at Old Trafford.
Ronaldo and Ten Hag worked together briefly after United terminated the forward's contract prematurely last November.
The Portuguese had an active deal at Old Trafford that was scheduled to expire at the end of the ongoing season.
However, The Mirror reports that the Red Devils resolved to cut ties with the five-time Ballon d'Or winner just days after his explosive interview with British journalist Piers Morgan.

At the time, Ronaldo took issue with United's top leadership, including Erik ten Hag, who he accused of disrespecting him.
Erik Ten Hag, Ronaldo fallout
Apparently, Ronaldo had had several run-ins with Ten Hag in the run-up to his acrimonious Old Trafford exit.
According to Fernandes, Ronaldo was a victim of stringent rules set by Ten Hag for his new charges after he took charge of the Manchester club.
Fernandes went on to disclose that his fellow countryman was called out specifically for flouting the guidelines.
“He demands from people. He demands and you either do it, or you’re out. In the beginning everyone was like: ‘Will he do that if a big player doesn’t do what he wants? Will he pull him apart or not?’ Fernandes told BT Sport.
