Polokwane City was given a scare recently when it came to coach, Duncan Lechesa.
The legendary former Premier Soccer League player had to be rushed to the hospital after complaining of severe pain in his stomach.
According to the Daily Sun, Lechesa first went to a hospital in Polokwane for a consultation, before having to be transferred to Milpark Hospital in Johannesburg after it was determined his health situation was a lot more serious.

"It happened so quickly and no one thought the coach would be hospitalised for this long. You could see that he was in great abdominal pain, and it was the right call to rush him to the hospital due to his serious medical condition."
The source also called Lechesa the best thing to have happened to Polokwane City since relegation to the national First Division.
"And now that he is about complete the good work that he started, this happens. I'm sure he has all the support from club chairman, Johnny Mogaladi, who likes him a lot."
The Daily Sun also stated it could not get hold of Lechesa at the time of publication.
