Eduardo Camavinga has become one of Real Madrid’s best players in recent weeks, but the French midfielder has revealed the secret behind his success at the club.
The 20-year-old joined Los Blancos in 2021 and became an instant success in the Spanish capital, winning the UEFA Champions League and La Liga titles in his first season.
According to Football Espana, Camavinga has now revealed that teammates, Karim Benzema and Ferlan Mendy helped him settle at Real Madrid when he first arrived at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium.
“Karim is special for me. Ferland [Mendy] as well. When I first arrived, he was the first to give advice. And they tell me straight if I play badly. Then Ancelotti is very close to us. He’s played, makes things fun.”

Camavinga has stepped up for Real Madrid this season following the loss of form of teammates, Luka Modric, Toni Kroos and Aurelien Tchouameni.
Camavinga pushes for Liverpool start
Meanwhile, Camavinga is pushing for a place in the Real Madrid starting XI against Liverpool in their Last-16 UEFA Champions League encounter, Madrid Universal reports.
