Luka Modric has had a glorious career especially during his spell at Real Madrid, but the veteran midfielder is not yet ready to hang up his boots.
The Croatian midfielder joined Real Madrid from English Premier League side Tottenham for £30 million in 2012 and has gone on to become one of the Spanish club’s greats.
According to Goal, Modric who is into the final months of his current Real Madrid contract is not ready to retire and has revealed he wants to get a new deal with the La Liga champions.

“I am doing everything I can to give my best and deserve the chance to continue here. I can’t do more, I have always had a very good relationship with the club and that’s not going to change.
"Just like last year, there’s no rush, we’re halfway through the season and there are many challenges ahead. I’m focused on that, on getting back to my best level, let’s see what happens."
Modric has been a key member under Carlo Ancelotti and has already scored six goals in all competitions for Real Madrid this campaign.
