2021 UEFA player of the year Jorginho switched from the blue side of London to the red side when he made a deadline day move to Arsenal from Chelsea for £12m.
The move got mixed reactions from Chelsea fans, with some claiming the experienced midfielder would boost Arsenal's title chances, while others believe the fee for his age and remaining months on contract is good business.
His first three games coincided with a winless run for the club but on his fourth game, he scored late on to help Arsenal seal victory over Aston Villa, before Brazilian winger Gabriel Martinelli added the fourth.
Social media reaction to Jorginho's goal
The former Napoli midfielder throughout his time at Stamford Bridge, scored only two open play goals, one against current club Arsenal and the other against Fulham.

It came as a surprise to many he took a shot from outside the box while many Arsenal fans were pleased they signed him.

That thing Jorginho did, that’s what big players do. You can’t do it if you aren’t big. That was why we stole him from a club that felt they’d be better off shopping for new players even when they don’t know how to use them.
