As reported by Marca, Pedri was substituted just before half-time after he picked up the injury during a collision.

How long is Pedri's recovery?

Football Espana reports that the Spanish midfielder will be out of action for a month, therefore missing some of Barcelona’s big games. One of those games is the return leg between La Blaugrana and United at Old Trafford.

Fellow youngster, Gavi also won’t feature in the return leg against Manchester United. The midfielder is suspended after picking up a yellow card in the first leg. Gavi and Pedri have been crucial to Barcelona’s success in La Liga this season.

Gavi suspended for second leg

Barcelona midfielder, Gavi has been ruled out of the Europa League play-off second-leg clash with Man United after being booked at Camp Nou.

The 18-year-old picked up a yellow card after pulling Fred to the ground to stop a counterattack from the Red Devils, Sports Brief reported.

The Spanish international will now miss the league's return leg at Old Trafford next Thursday after being booked for a third time in Europe.
