Former Nigerian international Mikel Obi has named Carlo Ancelotti as the best manager he played under at Chelsea thereby snubbing Jose Mourinho who brought him to the club.
Ancelotti who is currently the gaffer at Real Madrid was at Chelsea from 2009-2011 winning one Premier League title and FA Cup before he left Stamford Bridge.
During the Italian's reign at Chelsea, Obi enjoyed active playing time as Ancelotti gave the Nigerian enough time to exhibit his talent on the pitch.
According to the reprt on Daily Post, the ex-Super Eagles captain explained that Ancelotti was a calm manager and a gaffer who would never shout at players.

“We enjoyed training with Carlo Ancelotti. He was the best in man management I ever heard at Chelsea.
“When he came in, we played a little five-aside game, we did a little show run. The way he speaks to the players, he is so calm.
“He doesn’t raise his voice towards the players or shout at you. He passes his message across in a meaningful way. Other managers will shout at you if you are not doing well, like Mourinho, he is a totally different animal.”
